Great place to learn about the American Cattle-drive history. The whole park is shaded well with lots to read and see. Seating available and amazing sculptures.
The park includes a waterfall, walking paths, and a bronze collection of sculptures and plaques that display the Cattle Drive that passed through Texas decades ago. There is a lot of shade, natural springs, a pond, a creek and benches to sit on as you tour the park. Lots of photo ops here.
Cute little park just enough for a nice walk. No picnic table but a few benches and very generous amount of steps! If you walk all around the park it makes about a mile in walking distance.
very nice! a couple of good spots for a picnic and a nice pond filled w some fish that will totally eat ur stale bread crusts :) in a nice and quiet not too busy spot too
It's fine if you need a walkable place to take kids from one of the nearby hotels. But there's no playground and the maintenance is really subpar especially considering Frisco's supposed to be a wealthy new suburb. Busted wires, stagnant water, erosion, lack of sod, lack of erosion control, exposed mud, tripping hazards. Just pretty junky. Open pump box was quite dangerous.
Our local family took us for a walk in this park. We enjoyed the statutes, bronze murals, and history. The pathways were user-friendly for the baby stroller.
It was very nice to see a sunset view in the middle of Frisco city with kale and full of trees and small tracks for evening jogging.
Hadn't been here in a while so thought I'd stop by. Was really disappointed. This little park used to be so well kept. Now it is run down and in disarray. The grass full of empty patches and anthills, the stream that runs through it was looking really neglected as well as the grassy pavilion area. The area with the bronze cattle was dirty and the water features were not cleaned or kept up. One of the fountains was all dried up. Years ago Frisco used to take great care of this place but it clearly looks neglected. I don't recommend taking a walk here at all.
